• Zone 1 location benefiting from regeneration
  • High growth and good return on property investment

Vauxhall is in central London, on the river just South of Westminster and Chelsea. Henry Wiltshire’s sales manager at Nine Elms, Omar Jumaili, is thrilled to be selling properties in Vauxhall.

The Vauxhall area is a great place to live and work,” says Omar. “Investors are recognising the benefits of buying property in SW8, while those buying homes are choosing Embassy Gardens next to the new US Embassy  and the other new developments. This is a fantastic area of London – we’re seeing lots of regeneration, while homeowners are benefiting from a great return on their property investments.”

Why buy in the Vauxhall area?

The regeneration of Vauxhall and Nine Elms has given the area a new vibrancy

With a great location on the banks of the Thames, residents of Vauxhall love where they live. The regeneration of Vauxhall and Nine Elms has given the area a new vibrancy, while the river, parks and green spaces underpin Vauxhall’s original character. Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens, created by bons viveurs in 1810 is now at the heart of the area, hosting a popular summer festival as well as a pop up cinema. The community garden at Bonnington Square has a thriving cafe, or you can enjoy the fantastic eateries at the Vauxhall Food Garden with its ever-changing array of artisan street food. Vauxhall residents also benefit from being near to the West End, Westminster and the South Bank. See more in our guide to living in Vauxhall.

Public transport

Live in SW8 and take advantage of the short commute to the City and Docklands. From the bus station at Vauxhall Cross you can travel all over London, while Vauxhall’s underground station on the Victoria line will take you south to Brixton for gigs and nightlife, or north to Central London, the West End and King’s Cross. The overground station at Vauxhall takes you into Waterloo in just minutes, or travel out to the home counties and the south coast on South West trains. You can also travel by water on the River Bus from St George’s Wharf to Woolwich in the east and Richmond to the west.

Live at St George’s Wharf

The Tower at St George’s Wharf stands right on the bank of the Thames, and is already one of the most desirable addresses in South London. All the flats have fabulous views across the river and the rest of the capital. With up to three bedrooms and large living areas, the apartments are spacious and relaxing, providing the most luxurious riverside accommodation in Vauxhall. Facilities include a lobby, business lounge, winter garden, spa, gym and swimming pool, as well a concierge service provided by Harrods.
